How much does all this cost?
We bet this was the first or second link you clicked. Everyone always wants to know the bottom line. And that's fair.
The cost for all of this is unbelievably low!
YourBook is priced exactly like a yearbook. The first copy is $35 each month. We have not raised our base fee since we started YourBook in 1984. (We publish Sept.-May.) Then each additional copy is $0.75 for black and white or $1.75 for full color.
That means that if you sent it to 50 schools, your total cost would be only $70.00 in black and white or $120.00 in full color. Many of our current customers send it to far more than 100 schools each month. This further reduces your cost for each copy.
We can also mail your copies of YourBook directly to your schools. All mailing, labeling, postage and handling to mail your YourBook newsletters directly to your schools will be less than the cost of a single first class stamp or $0.44 per copy.
If you would rather mail your newsletters yourself, we will ship them to you via Priority Mail. Their is a postage/handling fee of$12.80 to ship them to you. That is our cost in packaging and mailing them to your address.
No money will leave your wallet.
You will send no money! We will charge your monthly subscription to YourBook to your Jostens Sales Account. Overdraft sales reps will need manager approval which we have never had turned down. Just call us and we'll set it up.
You have better ways to spend your time!
If we have persuaded you to do a newsletter but not to subscribe to YourBook, then think how much it would cost to do your own.
1. Writing time--15 hours
2. Layout time--10 hours
3. 4-11x17 printed copies @ $0.70 each in black and white or $2.00 in color
4. Fold, staple & address time--2 hours
If your time is worth $20 an hour (it's probably worth a lot more) then you just spent $160 for something you could have bought from us for $61. We think that's an incredible bargain, one that you can't afford to pass up.
