Does the permit you use say Seattle or Redmond or Washington on it?
No, direct bulk and first class mailing uses our Jostens postal permit. No city will show on the permit. Parents and students will not know where it comes from geographically.
Can you print bar codes and fully automate for the post office?
Yes, we can (while printing your flyer or postcard) imprint not only the name, address and zip but bar codes as well. See how it will look when printed here.
Do we have to send the Zip+4 codes so you can create the barcode?
No, the software we use will automatically add the Zip+4 code as well as the barcode.
Will the address be printed on the piece as a label?
No, the address and permit are printed right on the printed piece during the printing process. No label or after-print addressing.
How do we order?
All you have to do is e-mail us a PDF of what you want mailed along with an Excel file with name and addresses of the intended recipients in separate fields. To download an Excel file with the fields we need already in place, just click here.
How long will it take to mail them once I send you my order.
Tell us the date you want them mailed and we will send them off. If you don't have a printed piece, we would be thrilled to design one for you.
Turn-around time can be less than one week from the day we receive your files.
Mailing time from Seattle averages two days to the west coast, three days to the midwest and four days to the east coast. Some parts of the deep south may take a full business week so plan accordingly.
