How much does all this cost? That is usually the first thing people ask.
The cost for all of this is unbelievably low!
The first copy is $50 each issue. This charge covers the writing, personalization and setup each issue. (There are five issues each year.)
Each additional copy is $1.75 in full color. That means that if you sent it to 50 schools, your total cost would be only $137.50. To send it to 100 schools would cost $225 in color. The more you send the less each copy costs. You might even talk to your yearbook counterpart about sharing the newsletter.
No cash will leave your wallet. You will send no money! We will charge your monthly subscription to YourSchool to your Jostens Sales Account. Overdraft sales reps will need manager approval which we have never had turned down. Just call us and we'll set it up.
You have better ways to spend your time but not better ways to spend your money!
If we have persuaded you to do a newsletter but not to subscribe to YourSchool, then think how much it would cost to do your own.
- Writing time--15 hours
- Layout time--10 hours
- 4-11x17 printed copies (at our quality level) @ $2.00 (if you can find anyone to print it that inexpensively).
- 4) Fold, staple & address time--2 hours
If your time is worth $20 an hour (it's probably worth a lot more) then you just spent $640 for something you could have bought from us for $225. We think that's an incredible bargain, one that you can't afford to pass up.
