How much will all this cost?
First, remember that all costs are billable to your Jostens account. No cash will leave your wallet.
When designing and maintaining websites you have two types of basic costs, on-going costs (that you must pay on a regular basis) and one-time costs (pay once and then only for other services you request).
- Your URL (yourname.com, etc.) registration
This cost varies by the number of years you sign up for. Please let us know how long. We recommend three years to start with.
$34.99 per year for one year
$29.99 per year for two years (Save 14%)
$24.99 per year for three years (Save 28%)
$19.99 per year for five years (Save 42%)
$14.99 per year for 10 years (Save 57%)
$9.99 per year for 100 years (Save 70%) - Website hosting
That's where your website is housed so the world can get to it. This is paid by the month or the year. Cost for this is $25 per month. It includes the following:
200 megabytes of storage
Up to 5 mailboxes for e-mail (like yourname@yoursite.com)
Monthly webtrends reports to see who is visiting your site
Unlimited tech support provided by us (you do nothing!)
Website changes
We will automatically update your site once each month with content from the previous month's newsletter, Tips of the Day and more. You can do updates yourself (we can show you how--you will need to purchase software to update it and fixing any problems will be billable) or we can do the updates for you. If we update it the cost is billable at $50 per hour.
- Design and inputting of your original photos, text and artwork into your website. Before we can accurately quote this we would need to know what kind of site you want to build. Please call us at 800-755-5662 to discuss it.
$75 for three years of URL registration.
$300 for one-time setup and design.
$25 for your first month of webhosting.
Continuing costs will be $25 each month for hosting the website, updates and technical support. Every three years you will need to renew your URL registration for $75.
