I am once again (as I did in 2008) taking a photo a day for the entire year. I started on January 1, 2011 and have taken a photo every day since. All photos I am taking kind of fit into one of these 12 categories:

  2. • Nikor 18-200mm f3.5 zoom lens

  3. • Nikor 50mm f1.4 prime lens

  4. • Nikor 60 mm f.2.8 Micro (macro) lens

  5. • Nikon SB600 strobe with Lightsphere

  6. • Manfrodo tripod (my current favorite equipment)

  7. • iPhone 4 using a variety of photography apps

My favorite photos as of June 25.

Taken on the 85th Street bridge about four blocks from our home. Converted beautifully to black and white. Favorite pic as of today June 25.

The marina outside the San Diego Sheraton Hotel where my company met for their annual meeting. The marina wasn’t the star, the sunset was.

Bottom right is a young lady I snapped on the street at Redmond Town Center.

And bottom left is maybe the best pure photograph I have ever taken.—Janie on May 29, in Chilliwack.
